Workout and weight loss on wheels- make it up as you wheel
My new wheelchair sits me higher than my old so now every transfer is challenging. I have to be able to raise my torso after a transfer. It's hard but it will get easier in time. For now it makes much more sense to make lifting my torso my regular exercise than lifting my weight. Sometimes I will do both but my advice is to do what is most necessary to you at any given time.
