Workout and weight loss on wheels- fitness not food- for comfort
It is common that when a person is depressed (s)he turns to food. When you exercise, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These chemicals interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception of pain. They trigger a positive feeling in the body, like morphine. Feelings that follow a run or workout is often described as "euphoric." That feeling, called a runner's high, can be accompanied by a positive and energizing outlook on life. So what if a person turns to exercise for comfort? That would decrease weight-and a whole lot more. Two reasons to get out of depression- exercise and lose weight. Think about the benefits of literally running off depression! Therefore, ice cream is not the only answer.
